Well, the big day finally went off without a hitch. My 'diseased' gall bladder (as the surgeon termed it) was removed in a quick, relatively painless, and easy operation this afternoon. I'm already back home and in my own bed and ready to get on with life.
I’m not sure why I’ve been leaning towards supporting John Edwards this primary season. Perhaps its his populism and anti-corporatism (although I’m realistic about his chances to actually do anything about it once in office).
It was on, then off, now it's really on: Northwest is being swallowed whole by Delta, which is now headed by Northwest's former CEO, who as recently as January was promising not to absorb Northwest. Me smells a huge payday in Richard Anderson's future.
I was just thinking that getting older and fatter really sucks, especially when you don’t have the good genes that that guy across the aisle has. He’s got golden brown hair and hairy arms and is slim and trim and quite attractive.
